Multi-Faith Gathering 4 Black Lives

On Sunday, July 19, Interfaith Solidarity Network co-sponsored a Multi-Faith Gathering 4 Black Lives, attended by board members Rev. Bill Freeman, Kathy Freeman, and Daniel Tamm.

Attendees joined in prayer and witness against the injustice and violence of white supremacy, anti-blackness, and white nationalism. Speakers expressed a vision of community justice and belonging for the people, in our systems, our budgets, our institutions and in our hearts.

Interfaith Solidarity Network co-sponsored the event with LA Voice and multiple faith based organizations at Pan Pacific Park, where mask wearing and strict physical distancing was followed. The event was also live-streamed for those who preferred an online presence.
